Dry clean, press, spine-roll correction, blue-light treatment — what each one actually does.

Every book is different, so you choose the work it needs. Here’s each service in plain terms.

Dry cleaning is surface cleaning without liquids — gentle pads lift dust, grime, and some pencil and handling marks from the cover. It’s the quiet one that makes almost any book look brighter.

Pressing relaxes bends, dents, waviness, and warping back toward flat using heat, humidity, and pressure. It’s the service most books come here for.

Spine-roll correction targets one specific problem: a spine that’s curved or rolled from reading or bad storage, pulling the book out of square. We relax it back toward straight.

Blue-light treatment uses controlled light to reduce certain stains and tanning — some foxing, yellowing, and marks respond to it. Results vary by book and stain, so we treat it as an improvement to aim for, not a guarantee.

Older books may carry a vintage-era surcharge, because brittle paper needs slower, more careful handling.
